Hi, I'm John Polacek.
I'm a web developer, and ShowReco is a one-person operation — I write the code, answer the support email, and pay the API bills. I've been building things for the web for a long time, and this is a fun one that grew out of my own experiences working with AI to get good recommendations.
I live in Darien, IL (a nice place to live) about 40 minutes outside of Chicago with my wife and two sons. Thanks for giving ShowReco a try!

Nobody is waiting on a return, so nothing about ShowReco has to grow at your expense. Your taste isn't the product — the recommendations are.

ShowReco is free, and supporters cover the costly parts. That's the whole business model, stated in one sentence.
Honesty you can inspect
The ranking code can't see who pays — affiliate money can't buy a spot in your queue, and the firewall page shows the test that enforces it.
